The moment has at long last arrived puckheads! Now available as an In App purchase on the NHL Gamecenter Free App on the iPad you can unlock GameCenter Live to gain access to live game video and more.
What all do you get exactly? In the free version, you can get scores, stats, an ice tracker, game photos, schedules, standings, news and player profiles.
Or if you need a little something extra, you can get the Premium version for $19.99 as a separate app, and that includes in game video highlights, live game radio as well as condensed game videos, if you didn’t necessarily want to watch the entire game.
Finally, if you go for the Live version, you can get everything that was mentioned above, plus live game video as an in app purchase. Just go to the TV icon at the top of the screen in the app to upgrade to Live.
It does come at the price of $119.99 though to upgrade, which is still cheaper than the current $169 sign up price on the NHL’s website. With that though, if you’re already a GameCenter subscriber online, you can just use your user ID to unlock the live video on your iPad.
But if you’re out of the TV market of your favorite team, it could certainly be a worthwhile pickup!
